The time of the year for sweaters, wool socks, and jackets. As much as fall is my favourite time of year, I find it's also when I start losing steam on setting goals for myself.

I go to work when it's still dark, and come home to find it's on the verge of heading back again. I find it hard to stay motivated (well, okay, TV really gets in the way too -- FALL PROGRAMMING! ALL MY FAVOURITES AND THEN SOME ARE BACK!).

See, I'm a tv-media junkie. I hate that term so much, but it's the honest truth. I watch entirely too much Netflix, too many new shows and movies - I'm starting to feel like a real slug. 

This is why my goals for October are about getting out and getting moving. 

- Watch a little less tv

- More hikes with friends while the leaves are falling

- More coffee dates

- Try something new, like a cooking class

- Spend more quality time planning my blog content (okay, this one isn't about being out, but it IS about being more motivated, so it counts, right?)

- Make it to the Images Studio Tour this year with my mom! We try to go on the Sunday of Thanksgiving (Canadian Thanksgiving is just around the corner!), but I usually end up working. NOT this year!
